Diploma in pharmacy
This course is based on the job required to perform a pharmacist at different levels of public and private health institutions. Diploma in pharmacy program is three years course. The first year focuses on core and academic courses. The pharmacy related disciplinary courses are offered in second year. Similarly, the third comprises of some disciplinary courses along with application of learned skills and knowledge. Additionally, within the comprehensive clinical and community field practices-based workplace learning program is offered in third year. Scope of Pharmacy.
After completion of 3 years of Diploma in Pharmacy course, students can pursue their career in the following sectors:
- Academic sectors
- Retail pharmacy job: (Business Owner / Job)
- Hospital Pharmacy (Business Owner / Job)
- Industrial Pharmacy
- Research activities
- Marketing
Course comprises
Criteria for Admission:
- SLC Pass/SEE pass securing at least 2 GPA OR 68.33 in CMA for General Medicine (HA).
- SLC Pass/SEE pass securing at least 2 GPA OR 68.33 in CMA for Pharmacy.
- SLC Pass/SEE pass securing at least 2 GPA OR 68.33 in Lab Assistant course for CMLT (Lab Technician).
NOTE: Study of English, Math & Science subject in SLC/SEE is mandatory.

- The entrance application is to be submitted online.

- The application form for the entrance exam will be made available in Mayadevi Technical College.
- Number of Students to be enrolled per session:
- Diploma in Pharmacy : 40
- General Medicine (HA) : 40
- CMLT (Lab Technician) : 30
- Those candidates able to maintain their position in the merits will be eligible to join the programmes.
- Fee structure (admission fee, monthly and Hostel fee) is fixed according to the private policies of MTC and the details can be received from administration section (MTC).
